Schock Metall HEAVY - Full extension SDTSB-70 slide length 200 mm
Item-No.: 07000473001
Full-extension runners, STAINLESS STEEL C45 + C
- Length: 200 mm
The SDTSB-70 offers full extension to the front and rear. This is made possible by an internal luffing mechanism that releases each beam in turn. It is ideal for drawers or battery boxes on trains where access from either side may be limited.
This is a full extension telescopic rail for heavy loads (180-480 kg/pair), suitable for a wide range of applications. At 600 mm long, 1 pair has a full extension capacity of 480 kg.
It is made of milled stainless steel (inox) 316L profiles with machined ball races for accuracy, and has excellent shock and vibration resistance. Accordingly, the product is well suited for operation in extremely high to cryogenic temperatures. The beams and ball bearings are made of austenitic 316L. The end stop pins are 304 stainless steel with 430 ferritic stainless steel cages to provide complete corrosion protection.
The beam release mechanism ensures that one beam is held while the other moves. Unlike other systems where the load is pulled through the carriage and the ball cages misalign and jam.
Due to the extreme strength of the moving I-beam, this rail is robust to the applied loads in the extended position, making it an excellent choice for dynamic applications. Unlike many other rails that are manufactured from rolled C-sections. No plastic parts are used in the manufacture of this series, making it ideal for high temperature applications.
We do not recommend using standard SDTSB slides on precision pick and place robots or high speed shuttles unless they have been factory fitted and field tested by the customer before going into production. The slides are limited to operating speeds of <0.3m/s.
The slides are manufactured from milled 316L stainless steel (inox). The standard ball cages are made of 316 stainless steel, and the ball bearings are made of 316L stainless steel. The 316L grade is an austenitic stainless steel with a very low electromagnetic signature, making it ideal for defense applications. A single SDTSB-70 weighs 13.26 kg per meter.
