Adjustable ball handles are characterised by their small dimensions. Like all adjustable levers, they are to be used when the clamping range is limited or a specific clamping position is desired. The threaded insert is located in the ball bore and is detachably connected to the handle by a serration. By pressing down the handle, the serration is released and the handle can be swivelled into the most favourable clamping position. When the handle is released, it automatically engages again. If it is not possible to swivel the handle through 360°, the insert can be screwed in (after disengagement) using the slotted knurled screw.
