The hinges have a maximum opening angle of 180°, ensuring optimal accessibility and preventing open doors from blocking escape routes, for example. The outer sides of the housing remain free from external attachments that may not fit the design or are intentionally avoided for easy and quick cleaning. Stainless steel multi-joint hinges are typically used in pairs, meaning one L-shaped and one R-shaped hinge are used per opening. For higher loads, such as with large hatches, these can be supplemented with additional hinges in any form.
