Stainless steel venting diaphragms are used in the construction of enclosures and equipment. Installed in an enclosure wall, they enable pressure equalisation between the enclosure interior and the environment.
Possible dirt and dust particles carried along by the gaseous medium, but also oil and water droplets, are retained. This protects the inside of the body from dirt and moisture and prevents e.g. oil droplets from escaping into the environment.
Complete covering of the diaphragm with oil or water as well as exceeding the differential pressure / air passage volume should be avoided to protect the diaphragms. Installation in a protected position laterally / vertically is preferable.
The outer Ø of the housings with the recessed hexagon is matched to screw-in holes for pipe fittings DIN 3852.
The seal is embedded in a recess on the flat side. This protects it against loss and prevents it from being squeezed out when tightening.
Assembly note:
Use fixing nuts for wall thicknesses below 4 mm.
