With the adjustment knobs, a shaft can be infinitely adjusted in both directions of rotation. However, the clamping mechanism with a maximum load capacity of 15 Nm ensures that the shaft is locked in any position. This prevents uncontrolled adjustment of the shaft. The clamping mechanism thus provides a safeguard against undesired adjustment due to reverse torques. The scale and marking line are absolutely abrasion-resistant and easy to read, since the engraving of the "aluminium-coloured" numbers and characters contrasts with the black anodised surface. In addition to the standard scale (form S), these adjustment knobs can be supplied with any desired scale (form KS). With regard to the line pattern, number sequence, number position and number sequence, the clearly illustrated ordering scheme for scaling should be used.
