Bevel gears are used for angular / T-gears in connection with linear / transmission units and housings. The curved teeth make it easier to set the desired clearance and to find the correct position of the bevel gears. In addition, gearboxes constructed in this way run very quietly. Two bevel gears are required for an angular gear, and three bevel gears for a T-gear, which are available as sets in the form W and T respectively. It should be noted that only bevel gears of different pitch can be paired. The transmission ratio is always 1:1, since the bevel gears always have the same number of teeth.
