U-handles are made of bent aluminium profile and are characterised by stability and ergonomic design. Due to the manufacturing process, special designs can be supplied even in comparatively small quantities. In addition to the standard surfaces, these handles are also available with a functional coating. The handle is coated with a zinc molybdate-based and thus antibacterial powder coating. The active principle stimulated by the air humidity has been proven to reduce the growth of bacteria within 24 hours in such a way that contaminated surfaces ultimately have less than 0.2% of the original germ count. Standard elements with antibacterial plastic coating are used primarily in the healthcare sector and in public buildings such as airports, railway stations, stadiums, etc. The coating is also available with a functional coating.
