Thrust blocks DIN 6311 are used in conjunction with screws with thrust pins (grub screws DIN 6332, tommy screws DIN 6304, DIN 6306). They adapt to uneven or non-parallel surfaces and prevent the rotary movement of the screw from being transmitted to the workpiece. For easier assembly, the thrust piece is held so that the snap ring lies in the recess with the open side facing downwards.Then the screw is tilted as far as possible towards the open side of the snap ring and pressed in.
