Stainless steel indexing plungers with release lock are used when an accidental, careless retraction of the indexing plunger is to be prevented. The protruding indexing pin can be unlocked for retraction only by pressing the red pushbutton axially. Locking takes place automatically in the front end position, i.e. with the plunger pin protruding, by means of the locking mechanism which is completely housed in the operating knob and thus protected against malfunctions. The specified axial load capacity refers to the locking force of the bolt against unintentional actuation, which must not be exceeded.
