Spring-loaded stainless steel thrust pieces are used for locking as well as for push-on and push-off functions. The ball is freely movable in a plastic shell, which allows it to roll and thus generally optimises the latching behaviour. Above all, however, this minimizes wear on the counterpart. Another feature of these thrust pieces is that the plastic bearing provides electrical insulation. For the locating bore, the tolerance d1 F8 is recommended for joining connections and d1 H9 for press connections.
