Magnetic plugs bind iron particles suspended in the liquid due to the permanent magnet used. To prevent breakage and self-degaussing, the round magnets are supplied with a plastic spacer and protective sleeve. This must be removed before installing the solenoid plugs. The sealing ring is embedded in a radial and planar recess. This means that the seal cannot be lost and cannot be squeezed out when tightening.
