The very sturdily dimensioned, scratch-resistant natural glass pane of the oil sight glasses is sealed via an O-ring on the pane circumference and not on the flat side, thus the tightness is independent of the axial contact pressure. The outer Ø of the oil sight glasses with the recessed hexagon is matched to the screw-in holes for pipe fittings DIN 3852. The sealing ring is embedded in a radial and plane recess; this means that the seal cannot be lost and, above all, cannot be squeezed out during tightening. Oil sight glasses can also be used for vessels which are under pressure; test series on the load capacity at overpressure and underpressure are available. Mounting instructions: Use mounting nuts for wall thicknesses below 4 mm.
