The very sturdily dimensioned, scratch-resistant natural glass pane of the oil sight glasses is sealed by an O-ring around the circumference of the pane, so that the tightness is independent of an axial contact pressure. The outer Ø of the oil sight glasses with the recessed hexagon is matched to the screw-in holes for pipe fittings DIN 3852. The sealing ring is embedded in a radial and planar recess, thus the seal cannot be lost and cannot be squeezed out when tightening. Oil sight glasses can also be used for vessels that are under pressure. Test series on the load capacity at overpressure and underpressure are available. Mounting instructions: Use mounting nuts for wall thicknesses below 4 mm.
