Pendulum elements are used as movable supports or thrust pieces for clamping workpieces. They can also be used as a stop. For cast parts, it is recommended to use shuttle elements with a carbide ball. In the case of shuttle elements with automatic reset, the support surface swivels back into the initial position after clamping. This prevents the ball from jamming in an oblique position when the workpiece is inserted. The ball can be rotated by max. 9°; it is secured against further rotation.
