Quick release clamping rings are clamped by reducing the slot height using an eccentric lever. This allows the rings to be adjusted quickly and easily without tools. Thanks to the material aluminium, a low mass inertia results. The specified tightening torque of the screw serves as a guide value at which the ring clamped on a shaft (with closed eccentric lever) can achieve the corresponding specified axial load capacity. The data on the axial load capacity are non-binding guide values, they do not represent any quality assurance. The friction surface of the eccentric lever should always be lightly lubricated, as this has a favourable effect on the service life.
