The wear-free friction ring ensures that the scale ring is securely carried along when the spindle is adjusted, but also allows the ring to be adjusted when the shaft is stationary. In addition to the standard scale (code MCRS), these scale rings can be supplied with any desired scaling. It is recommended to use the matt chromium-plated version (MCR) for this purpose, as this provides a good colour contrast. With regard to the line pattern, numerical sequence, numerical position and numerical sequence of a scale, the clearly illustrated ordering scheme for scales should be used.
