Stainless steel knurled screws can be easily "secured against loss" using the thin shank d4, e.g. in a cover. For this purpose, a thread d1 must be provided on both sides instead of a normal through/threaded hole, if necessary with a corresponding clearance hole d5. Depending on the design and clamping thickness a1 ... a3 of the cover, you can choose between the design variants shown above.
