Stainless steel welding sockets allow connection threads to be welded onto containers, tanks or hydraulic cylinders. Filler and drain plugs or ventilation elements and oil sight glasses can be easily installed by screwing them in. The flat surfaces are machined and can be used as sealing surfaces in conjunction with a suitable sealing element. When welding, the sufficiently thick wall thickness prevents deformation or burn-through. Form B (with collar) is used when precise positioning through the locating hole or a low installation height is required.
