Telescopic linear ball bearings comprise two interconnected linear ball bearings and are used, for example, for handling and automation applications or in fixture construction for travel in a straight direction when large strokes are required with a low overall height of the rail. The H-shape of the rails gives the arrangement a high degree of stability. Traveller bars and running rails are of equal length. Both runner bars can be extended to such an extent that a stroke of more than the basic rail length l1 is achieved. If the stop screws are removed from the runner bars, a stroke of the runner bars on both sides is possible. The position of the runner rail is only determined in both end positions. Depending on the requirements, a choice can be made between three shapes for the fixing holes. The limitation of the max. stroke should be ensured by external elements, the stops of the rail serve as protection against unintentional extraction of the runner bars.
