The pressure pin of the DIN 6306 tommy screws is designed so that it can be used both directly and in conjunction with a pressure piece for clamping. The snap ring of the thrust piece creates a very simple and quick connection between the screw and thrust piece. A thrust piece can also be used instead of DIN 6311. In this case, the tommy screw and thrust piece must be ordered separately. The sliding toggle is held in any position by the compression spring. The plastic end caps limit the sliding movement. They are pressed on positively and can be supplied unassembled if the individual parts are to be galvanized. The official standard sheet specifies steel rings at this point.
