A so-called heart-curve mechanism is integrated in locking pins. This causes the indexing pin to be locked in the front end position simply by pressing the actuating button. When the button is pressed and released again, the indexing pin is unlocked and retracted automatically. (PUSH-PUSH locking mechanism). It should be noted that the plunger pin cannot absorb any axial forces and that retraction is practically only effected by spring force. For this purpose, the plunger pin must be easy to move.
